Could your story go Live?

18th September 2019

Healthy Young Minds have been contacted to take part in the LancsLive1in4 campaign. It is all around mental health and features stories online every Thursday from a variety of people. It gives individuals or groups a platform to tell others about their mental health struggles, what their journey was like, how it started, and how they got through it. Most stories also feature some advice for people in a similar situation. This is a great chance to help to bring down barriers around the stigma of mental health topics, raise awareness as well as share advice and help for other people in similar situations.

Whilst this can be a written piece, LancsLive are happy and open to this being a video too for those who want to get super creative with their story.

With this in mind, we ask…do you know someone or are you someone who fits the bill to be a part of this campaign? If you do, contact us and we can facilitate this happening.

If any children or young people that you work with would like to share their journey/experience and be featured on the Lancs Live website, please get in touch with us at healthyyoung.minds@nhs.net. You can read/watch some of the other stories here: https://www.lancs.live/news/all-about/lancslive1in4.

We’re looking for case studies from all over Lancashire and South Cumbria. This is an amazing opportunity to highlight some of the incredible children and young people in the region and the positive journeys that we see unfolding every day – journeys that will inspire other young people who can relate to them.

We look forward to hearing from you!
